Our Response to the Covid-19
The caregivers at HOME CARE FOR ME follow CDC recommendations and take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus to those we serve. As we work very closely with high risk individuals, we realize and respect the safety of all concerned. We take this threat very seriously. As the cases of the virus are quickly increasing in our state, we would like to stress that there are benefits of booking with us! Your care will be provided by no more than 2 individuals in most situations. Your primary caregiver and a back up staff. Unlike an agency, you know who is showing up at your door.
COVID‑19 Basics
- Take Every Precaution
Take simple steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19, such as:
- Wear cloth face coverings when in public, when around people who don’t live in your household, and when you can’t stay 6 feet away from others, including when you
are outside. - Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Stay home as much
as possible

- Know the Symptoms
Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or
difficulty breathing - Fever
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Seek Medical Care if Needed
If you are concerned you have been exposed to COVID-19, call your healthcare provider, who will determine whether you should be tested. Decisions to test are left to the clinical judgment of your
healthcare provider.
If you do not have a primary care provider, you can visit an urgent care or walk-in facility for care and testing. Always call before you arrive to let them know you are coming.
As a service to our clients we offer free online visits with family and friends to lessen the risk of exposure. Via Zoom, Facetime or Skype. We also realize that feeling isolated can be very difficult at this time. Seeing a smiling face and hearing a familiar voice can brighten ones day and overall mental health.
